Edward Rice has led award-winning renovation and new construction projects, seamlessly integrating sustainable design principles and new technologies into existing buildings and historic landmarks. Ed led ABA’s Master Plan for the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Master Plan and gallery renovations, and a study for the renewal of Adolphus Busch Hall at Harvard University. His past work for the Carl A. Fields Center at Princeton University was honored with awards from the AIA’s New Jersey and Boston Chapters, and his work at MIT creates a new home for the Department of Mathematics.
Ed Rice holds a Master of Science Degree in Architectural Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Cornell University. He has served as a Teaching Assistant for architectural studios at MIT and Cornell University.
