In support of the college's commitment to its visual and performing arts program, ABA developed a master plan to evaluate campus arts facilities. The result was a campus-wide arts initiative, including the transformation of an existing auditorium into a new concert hall and center for art, film, dance, and lectures. ABA's design reconceived the architectural setting, systems, and acoustics, creating a rich, warm interior, new patron services, backstage facilities, and variable acoustics for a range of programs.
The Hensel Hall renovation received a BSA Award and a United States Institute for Theatre Technology Award.
