NEW ENGLAND CONSERVATORY OF MUSIC,
As the centerpiece of the New England Conservatory, Jordan Hall is a 1,000-seat performance hall and a National Historic Landmark. ABA’s award-winning restoration re-established it as a prime venue for performance, teaching, and recording. The project included restoration of decorative finishes, new lighting, systems integration, improved patron and performer services, stage and backstage alterations, and accessibility upgrades throughout.
ABA’s restoration of Jordan Hall received awards from the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Boston Society of Architects, Massachusetts Historical Commission, Victorian Society in America and Boston Preservation Alliance.
ABA’s Jordan Hall renovation was recognized with a BSA Honor Award, a National Trust for Historic Preservation Honor Award, and a Massachusetts Historical Commission Award.
